Annual Holiday Drives
making a difference
The Jullia Rose Foundation is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our non-profit is aimed at helping children in our area have the best life that they can. We do little things all year and at the end of each year we choose one big project. We call it our annual holiday drive. Service Call, a local home remodeling and repair business in Lincoln, has sponsored all of our holiday drives. Thank you to Service Call and all of our donors for your generosity and support of the Jullia Rose Foundation.

Cake My Day and Project Lifesaver Lincoln
We wanted to take a step back this year and look at our previous years work. We chose to dedicate our annual fundraiser to two of our previous projects Cake My Day and Project Lifesaver Lincoln. Money raised was split between these two very important programs.
Cake My Day!
Do you know a child in Lincoln, Nebraska who is having a birthday but might not have the means to celebrate?

Project Lifesaver Lincoln and Lancaster County
At The Jullia Rose Foundation, we are dedicated to helping children in need. We saw a need among children with autism. Approximately half of children with autism are prone to wander or elope from a safe environment.
Project Lifesaver is the premier search and rescue program operated internationally by public safety agencies, and is strategically designed for “at risk” individuals who are prone to the life threatening behavior of wandering. The primary mission of Project Lifesaver is to provide timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children with the propensity to wander due to a cognitive condition.

Giving children a Voice. Ipads for Autism
Some children with autism are not able to communicate using their voice the way a typical child does. Some are completely non verbal but can use a tablet to communicate his or her wants and needs. Some need that extra help getting the right words out and a tablet can make a huge difference in their communication. We were able to purchase Ipads and cases for 29 nonverbal and semi nonverbal kids in the Lincoln area with autism.
Christmas Presents for Children. Food Bank.
Holiday Drive 2015 was dedicated to helping children at Christian Heritage Children's Home have the best Christmas ever! We purchased gifts for approximately 25 children. We also donated the rest of the money raised to the Lincoln Community Food Bank.
Helping The Community
Our first ever holiday drive was sponsored by Service Call, a local home repair and remodeling company. Service Call has continued to sponsor all of our holiday drives. We found a few families in Lincoln who needed repairs done on their homes and could not afford to pay for the repair work. Service Call did the work for the families at no charge to them.
